How this calculator works

- 2Multiply total gallons by the delivered fuel price and divide by acres for a per-acre value.
- 3Apply the reduction percentage to gallons and cost; no yield, labor, timeliness, or equipment effect is assumed.
Reading the result
- Use actual fuel tickets and field-operation records when available; averages can hide major differences between tillage and harvest work.
- A pass reduction may also change labor, repairs, compaction, chemical use, and yield. This tool isolates fuel only.
- Run price and efficiency scenarios separately so you can see which assumption drives the result.
