Privacy Policy

Save US Farms is an independent newsroom, not a data company. We collect the minimum needed to run a website and understand readership, we gate analytics behind your explicit consent, and we never sell reader data to anyone.

What we collect automatically

• Anonymous traffic counts via Cloudflare's cookieless web-analytics beacon — aggregate page views, referrer, country, and device type. No cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
• Server logs via Cloudflare, which serves the site on our behalf and may log request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and debugging. We do not access raw logs outside of incident response.

What we collect only with your consent

We use Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) to understand which stories readers find useful. It does not load and sets no cookies until you choose “Accept analytics” on the consent banner. If you choose “Decline analytics,” Google Analytics never runs. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (the suf_analytics_consent key) — not in a tracking cookie — and you can reset it any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or broker your data to anyone, ever.
• We don't run third-party tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight).
• We don't fingerprint browsers or follow you across other sites.
• We don't tailor our editorial decisions to who is reading.

Newsletter

The Daily Dirt newsletter sign-up is currently a “coming soon” form — it does not yet submit anywhere or store an email address. When the newsletter launches, this policy will be updated to name the provider and describe how subscriptions are handled before any address is collected.

Your rights

Under GDPR and CCPA you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold. In practice we hold no account or contact records about readers, so there is typically nothing to retrieve or erase. Email contact@saveusfarms.com with any privacy request and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes are reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
